Overwhelmed by the generosity of Cardiff Central and Fairwater Police

3/10 – Feeling rubbish, my head feels like it is well and truly in the shed. Not even a Wattbike session helped this morning. In fact, I did not even want to do that, but managed 30 minutes. I am tired and just feel like some ‘isolation’ time again. I just want to hide under the duvet, but that would do my head in. I have had three conversations with people about Mind over Marathon which were all positive and gave me a lift.
I am sat in David Lloyd with my lap top looking for inspiration for an article I have been asked to write for a magazine. I don’t seen to have the words or the inspiration at the moment to do that.
Yesterday, I popped into Cardiff Central Police Station as the Tuck shop had made £100 in sponsorship for me. I was so chuffed to receive this and it means so much to me. I have not worked in Cardiff for a few years but I absolutely loved woking there and the fact that I was thought about for the donation was amazing, I even felt emotional collecting the money. I have so many fond memories from the place. I also had sponsorship from Fairwater CID Tuck shop, once again so nice to be thought of.
